Things can change, but holy hell that WR group is lean.
Lazard should see a lot of targets translate into a career year, so the value may not be there. Chark can't stay healthy. Not sure what our plan with JuJu is, but my read has always been he's a lot more likely to walk after this year regardless of how it goes than he is to stay. [Reply]
Veach calls Saquon Barkley’s agent: “listen…your client has been with an absolute dog shit franchise his entire career. How about he comes to play for Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes on a fair deal to get his value back up?” [Reply]
Needs will depend on what happens with Orlando Brown and Juju this season, as well as the development of Sky Moore. Would love to see Juju do well and get a decent contract extension from KC. If Sky Moore does well in his first year that could be a decent duo, although I think WR is still a top need in the draft again next year. Hardman can hit the road.
LT becomes need #1 if Brown isn't extended, in which case you would have to question the trade of premium draft picks for a 2 year rental at LT, but that's another story. Don't see any free agent tackle options, so you'd have no choice but to trade up in the draft for a left tackle.
Runningback is the only position that looks decent in free agency, but that's also the position you shouldn't be spending money on. Most teams seem to be able to find quality runningbacks later in the draft, most teams other than KC that is. [Reply]

I'd much prefer KC gave some dollars to a guy like Jenkins and went up and drafted a guy like Jaelyn Duncan at LT than pay Brown but I may be in the minority.
The bird in the hand thing... I get it... but I still came away relatively less than impressed with Brown yesterday. Maybe I'm too hard on the kid. [Reply]

It's actually where I'm leaning as well, but I go in and out on it.
Above average is pretty damn valuable for LT, but I'm not sure it's going to be as valuable as Brown wants it to be. [Reply]

No you've not been too hard on him. I'm honest to God thinking a double OT pick might be needed in the draft. Somehow we need 2 new OTs and 2WRs that aren't ass, alongside a DE and DT. Yikes. [Reply]
