This series definitely took a turn for the better. The edgy teen "biker gang" was a bit cringe in ep3, but everything else has gotten better and better (esp ep 5-7). In ep1 it looked like cheap backlot sets and rubber suits, but they have progressively added more and more impressive CGI. There has been some heavy duty fan service, but it's not cheesy... handled well. Direction and writing have been getting pretty darn good. Glad I got bored watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for the 10th time and decided to give ep3-7 a shot. For anyone else like me who thought the early entries were weak, watch the second half of the season. It does not disappoint.
