That looks good. But will the flashback scene be any good?

Trailer was pretty good. I agree that the eyeliner emo look is bad. Bale’s Batman started off somewhat with an emo look as well in Batman Begins then turned into the playboy Bruce Wayne that we know. However, if they are going the Tobey Maguire route with Batman, it’ll bomb.

This looks fantastic and gritty. This supposed to be more of a year 1 or 2 Batman. This movie is going to be awesome and Riddler and Penguin were in the trailer.
I'm really hyped to see what they will do considering they've only filmed a 1/4 of the movie. Movie is supposed to be more of a crime/mystery/noir feel... something like 'The Long Halloween'.

I don’t mind the emo look. Plays to his youthful nature of being emotionally charged and finding his identity as Batman. I’m excited for a young Bruce that is a loose cannon. The fight scene was badass

Who is the main villain?
Agreed. I may have to get my oven ready to bake some crow. This looks... like it may actually be a good film.

The Riddler is the main villain.

Penguin, who is in the trailer for those of you that didn’t catch it, is played by Colin Farrell. He’s unrecognizable. It’s crazy.

Catwoman is also obviously in it, and their were rumors that the Mad Hatter and Firefly were in it as well though I honestly don’t think they will be.

Literally every Batman since Keaton has worn eyeshadow. The only difference here is they're actually showing it with the mask off. The reason they do that is because the mask looks kind of goofy without it. See this...

versus this...

Looks way better with the eyeshadow.

Looks so damn good. Shut up & take my money already.

Also I like how this looks like a detective story (instead of a cgi/explosion fest)

This is allegedly Colin Farrell as The Penguin from the teaser. Holy crap

I feel Paul Dano is gonna kill it as Riddler. He was SO good in Prisoners. I feel like Jonah Hill wouldn't have fit in this movie as Riddler.

Fuck Jonah Hill. That ugly fat POS was wanting $10 million to be the Riddler. Dano is superior in every way imo.

With all the goons in clown makeup despite the main villains seemingly being Riddler and Penguin and the dark story and Batman being on the younger side wonder if it's set in the same universe as Joakim Phoenix's Joker.

:-)

Matt Reeves, the film's director and screenwriter, has a great track record of successful films, from Cloverfield to the Planet of the Apes films and Batman films have been proven winners.

So why should Jonah Hill take less than his Quote for a film that's going to probably earn hundreds of millions of dollars for Warner Brothers? If he does take less, then moving forward, that's what he's worth because that's how Hollywood works.

How would he benefit from taking less money?
