Thanks!

Every possible hurricane and snowstorm I’ve even been around results in a run on grocery store items. People start horading. If it happens every time, in all states, It’s human nature, not the media.
It has a lot to do with all of the people who bought/buy into the entire "Fake news" bullshit.

True but the hoarding is base human fear. I can see bottled water. We can’t live without clean water. But, TP?

The numbers have been posted in this thread. It's astronomical the numbers that would be needed and hospitals would absolutely be overrun. The social distancing is to spread that out.

Also don't fall under the complete misconception that only old people need hospitalization with this.

As much as the media has lied to us for years you can't blame people.

They have cried wolf so many times people have stopped trusting them. Well, something real happened and now their failures in the past have come home to roost.

“Why are you seeing the numbers go up?” Cuomo asked at a news conference Thursday morning. “Because you are taking more tests.”

The governor said 8,000 tests for the virus were performed in New York overnight and he expects the number of confirmed cases to go up exponentially.

C19 may already have been spiking and just mis-identified.

You clearly don’t work in healthcare.

So fuck you.

This is not even remotely true.

It's believed the hospitalization rate for this virus is around 10%.

This was a bad flu season and the hospitalization rate for the flu was 0.00061%.

I don't no but I have friends who work in hospitals. They know way more than you or I and they keep me informed.

Use a little common sense. You think our politicians are closing every thing down for fun?

What does my profession have to do with my opinion? My sister is an RN and I’ve told her the same things I posted in this thread. She doesn’t totally agree, but she thinks shutting down the entire country like we are doing is dumb.

My Son has had pneumonia twice since Christmas. His pediatrician said she has treated more cases of that in kids this year than she ever has.
