This team is going to have to play like a midmajor to win at a high level. Scrappy defense, take care of the ball, play smart and hit threes.

Unfortunately, shooting has been very inconsistent, they don't play particularly smart as a team, they're careless with the ball, and interior defense isn't good.

They'll get better but I just don't know if the horses are there to make a deep run.

They need Grant-Foster and Thompson to reach their full potential, and Braun needs to be a consistent deep threat.

Damn, I wish that new juco big was eligible to play this year. He's exactly what this team needs. He's like a shorter Udoka with more athleticism and versatility.

NDSU has played 4 tough teams. They won their conf the last two years and lost a big time point scorer to graduation.

This team is not winning the Big 12 regular szn, I'm sorry guys. I've thought they would for the last 15 yrs but Im afraid they just aren't talented enough.

Baylor is probably the better team but I actually do like the potential of this team (when McCormack isn't on the floor, the guy is a waste of space out there). I'm not ready to say it quite yet as I need to see more of him against top competition, but Wilson looks like he might be the best NBA prospect this team has had in quite some time.

Now they're never probably going to be better than this year's Gonzaga but they still might be good.
