In a departure from expectations this afternoon, Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed was on the field for some stretching and conditioning that would put him in the next stage of the concussion protocol, a very good sign for him.
Andy Reid is optimistic JuJu Smith-Schuster, who sustained a left knee injury Sunday, will be able to participate in the team's practices next week in Arizona.
"He's in the good place," Reid said. "The main thing is letting that thing calm down. We'll just see where it goes."
Reid was particularly optimistic that among the injured players Toney and JuJu would be able to play in the Super Bowl. On JuJu, Reid said, "He's in a good place."
Andy Reid said L’Jarius Snead, who spends most of his time covering teams #1 QB is in the concussion protocol. His status for the Super Bowl will be one to watch vs the #eagles
Chiefs LB Willie Gay is optimistic about playing in the Super Bowl despite hurting his shoulder Sunday vs. Cincinnati, per source. Early tests were encouraging.
.@adamteicher to @J810Anderson on how the #Chiefs feel about the chances of their injured players returning for the Super Bowl: "The Chiefs feel like everybody's got a chance, all those guys." Adds that it's doubtful that all of them would make it, but all should have a shot.
Well based on that video, he plants & looks like he’s headed for a nasty basketball ankle sprain, but his foot/ankle (luckily) slides into external rotation and probably saves him from more serious injury. May be better with different view
I'd guess Mecole is the least likely to play. The guy missed 10 weeks because of this injury, was shut down the week before this past game because it wasn't healing. He then reinjured in only 15 snaps. I'd say there's like a 1 percent chance he plays. [Reply]

Wasn't a head injury for Pacheco that I could see. He was limping pretty badly in the 4th Q. It's a left knee or ankle imo. But he was playing on it and now he has two weeks. He'll be fine. [Reply]

Hardman says he should be good to play and you're giving it a 1% chance? That's just silly.
No sillier than fucking BWillie just randomly saying Juju probably won't have a chance. (with nothing but a wild ass guess) If Juju does play he won't say shit but if he doesn't play he'll quote himself and tell us how he nailed it. [Reply]

I always enjoy when someone says a player has a 50-50 chance of playing.
That’s the absolute weakest take imaginable. [Reply]
