Washington’s offense isn’t great, but it isn’t terrible either. Without their best player, this defense played a great game. Need to get Jones back and hopefully figure out the right role for him whether that’s moving him back inside full time or what.
I thought Nick Bolton had his best game yet.

Defense was respectable today. I didn't expect to be a top ten defense right away. Still it was a nice improvement from every other game this year. Need to see more Gay and Thornhill. And Sneed looked like his old self again. [Reply]
They basically did what they were supposed to do in this game. Which is still a massive improvement over what they’ve been putting on the field. Spags blitzed quite a bit it seemed. Haven’t seen any numbers to confirm that, but I think generally he LOVES blitzing against bottom tier QBs. We haven’t played any of those this year, until this game. [Reply]
Danna has made it unnecessary for Jones to play DE on early downs. If they play him at DE sparingly, fine. But I'd rather have Jones at DT and rotate Reed into the game. [Reply]

Eagles don’t have a very good offense but looked amazing against this KC defense. So you have to say they did a great job today. Massive improvement from previous games. [Reply]
