Nzoner's Game Room>Chiefs signing Melvin Gordon
Dante84 03:17 PM 11-28-2022

Two-time Pro Bowl RB Melvin Gordon is expected to sign with the #Chiefs practice squad, per source.

Released by Denver last week, Gordon should be active soon. Another weapon for the stretch run. pic.twitter.com/LBZ7cK2utG

Good for him. Guy joined the team, did his job as a backup if McKinnon went down, never got a shot, but enjoyed and relished the experience.

He earned his ring even if he didn't take a regular season snap with the team.

Can Melvin Gordon be a 3rd down / Goal line guy or is he too whatever to contribute to the roster?

He was the first participant in our new program to give broncos, Chargers, and Raiders players internships so that they too can experience a super bowl.

Hell, we need to re-sign him for his attitude about the whole thing if nothing else. :-)

For real, after the crap CEH pulled you have to respect Melvin. He's a much bigger name than CEH and has been a Pro Bowler, and he fully accepted his role and just relished being a part of this incredible culture.

CEH is clearly a little spoiled. Going from LSU straight to KC, he's never had to deal with the crap Gordon has had to deal with the last few years. He doesn't appreciate what we have here. Gordon did.

CEH will after he spends a year in Washington. :-)

While I'm not exactly a Gordon fan, I am totally over CEH.

I loved that every time I saw coverage of the team Melvin Gordon was right there

warming up next to mahomes at practice
Super bowl media coverage
on the sidelines
at the parade

He was there for the team, wouldn't mind seeing him come back

Dude, MG has fumbled the ball 26 times in an 8-year career.

Shady fumbled the ball just 25 times in a 12-year career, while carrying the ball nearly 1,000 more times, and CP wanted him burned at the stake.

Melvin might be a good cheerleader, but I don't think we want him carrying the ball anywhere near the EZ.
