“Mr Barnhart:

Thank you for reaching out to ESPN. We understand your concerns about where and when your basketball games are broadcast. Unfortunately our Saturday slate was full of highly rated matchups: Kansas-Carolina, Louisville-Virginia, and Duke-Syracuse. That’s why we had to put you on The Ocho with a 6am tip time.

We discussed this matter last summer and informed you on how to remedy this issue and get back into the prime slots during basketball season If and when you’re ready to take action, you know where to find us.

Sincerely,
ESPN Programming Hotline

Financially, does it make sense for them to give up SEC money though?

“Mr Bernhardt:

This letter serves notice we will not be broadcasting any of your football or basketball games this year. While no school feels they’re televised enough, tough decisions need to be made. And as the sole rights holder to all your inventory, we reserve this right.

Have a good day. And if you’re ready to remedy this we will be available.

I think that could be an anti-trust violation if ESPN did that.

Now I really want the Big12 to expand and grab up the top 5 AAC teams and maybe the top 2 MWC teams, and as a real pipe dream, BYU.

Screw ESPN.

Without looking at the answer, I can't remember a time in my lifetime (1977) that we've played in either place.

Just noticed when quoting it shows the spoiler. So I'm not that far off and I definitely don't remember it.

We’ve are 5-6 all time vs Carolina. What is the total (not avg) point differential?

Spoiler!
