Some teams don't make excuses and are able to win games even with injuries to their best players (see the B12 SF). Other teams lose to Vandy.

Some teams do, most don’t. It’s pretty common for schools to role 7-8 deep. And it depends on the position of the injury and if they have the depth to recover that position.
If you only have one true PG or C, and one of them gets hurt it could be a pretty big problem. [Reply]
