Honestly I’m an Alabama fan and have watched a lot of plays of Jordan Davis. I think he’s a game changer like Arron Donald. Maybe too early for him but after Jags picked Hutchinson the hometown boy we had to pivot. I’m not sold on the kid from Oregon or any of the OT. So I went by who I think are the top five players regardless of position. [Reply]

I don’t think it’s a bad pick at all.
And it actually makes sense considering the Lions are a team that is building their team inside out.
Sewell and Davis are a great duo on both sides on the ball to set the tone for the future. [Reply]
With the 5th pick in the 2022 NFL draft, THE New York Giants select Ikem Ekwonu, Tackle, North Carolina State.
With new coach Brian Daboll the plan is to instantly transform the offense. This improves 2 OL positions as Andrew Thomas moves to right tackle while Ekwonu is how you draw up your prototypical blind side protector. [Reply]

Hard to argue. He was on my short list at 4 for the Jets, but like the Stingley pick in Detroit, an All Pro S did exactly dick for them.
Now Hamilton's a different cat in how he does things than Adams, so he CAN elevate other parts of the defense - easily a defensible pick for the Panthers. Just couldn't talk myself into him at 4 for the Jets. [Reply]
