This is why I don't like Andrei Iosavisasasdfadsas from Princeton or Yale or whatever Ivy League school he's at. Great measurables, but you never see separation on his tape. [Reply]

I really don't see that at all.
Looking at the tape, I see a lot of screens and short stuff with Flowers where you get him the ball and he looks a LOT like Toney. He makes people look stupid. He's electric with the ball in his hands. But downfield? Other than blown coverages, not much separation during the route, although he does remarkably well in contested catch situations given his size.
With Rice, I see Deandre Hopkins.
Now, is Flowers a great fit for this offense? Sure, absolutely, although he's a lot like Toney, and maybe a rich man's Moore. So is that too much of the small, shifty guy in the WR room? I don't know. I don't know if Andy cares, really.

Mingo just May go in the first rd
"A prospect people aren't talking enough about right now is WR Jonathan Mingo. He's 6-2, 220 pounds, has interviewed incredibly well, and I know he's a lot higher on teams' boards than the stuff we're all reading online."

He's clearly overselling it. I can buy Mingo going in the 2nd, but even that isn't guaranteed. Do you honestly believe that Mingo goes in the 1st? [Reply]

Dell and Downs I think. I imagine a lot of teams just take Dell straight off their boards due to the size. It'll be interesting to see how many though. Feels like there was a couple of years people overlooked size and we saw guys like Tutu Atwell go way too early. I could see a correction and Dell falling to us back of the 2nd, but it only takes one team, he could easily go a fair bit earlier [Reply]

How would you guys feel about the first two rounds of just pure offensive weapon madness with:
1. Jahmyr Gibbs
2. AT Perry
???
I think that'd open this offense up to another dimension.
I'd be down. Gibbs is a straight up weapon. He'd be magic in this offense and would immediately come in and fill the void left by McKinnon.
Perry is an interesting guy. He's got some of the ugliest releases and some sloppy breaks imo. I wanna see him stick his foot in the ground and explode more than he does. That's the concern with him imo. No idea how he tested or what his scouting report is. [Reply]

I agree that Perry could be one of those guys that's being incorrectly projected and could sneak into the bottom of the 1st in the real draft.
If I'm nitpicking Perry, it's his route tree IMO. Feels like he only runs the deep route, and comebacks.
I don't think the routes are a major issue, he runs a lot like Justyn Ross does. I think the hands are the only real question mark in his games but he is so good most of the time that I don't know if it's "that big" of a deal. 8/9 drops and 80+ receptions I can live with. It's not perfect but it's also not something that I think it's a major problem. [Reply]
