My best friend just deployed for Afghanistan today. I think he is going to Uzbekistan (sp?) first for like a month, but I'm definitely going to send care packages when he gets there.

You want to help buy some goodies, you can send a check or use paypal. But thats not neccesary to get your friend a package. Thats a done deal. [Reply]

Look at the pictures in the opening thread. Thats the kind of stuff that you can send. Also Iowaian had some great off beat ideas that soldiers can use in their quarters. [Reply]
