Salvy would have the HR record because he has played more than 50% as a catcher.
For the baseball nerds who want to say- "while catching"- he would not get it. If that is the case- Bench would not have it either.
Separating HR's between what position they were playing at the time is kind of dumb. That is saying any production at DH would not count.
