That was beyond a heads up play. Pretty sure they called the trail runner out for occupying the same base, then Salvy got the lead runner coming off the base. Not sure if that was accurate to the rules but we'll take that. [Reply]
2 people on the bag at the same time the tailing runner is automatically out and Salvy tagged the lead player, who is entitled to the base, while he was off the bag. Out and out. [Reply]
If the lead runner would have stayed on the bag he would have been awarded the base with the tailing runner out. But once they were both on the base at the same time the tail runner is automatically out. The lead runner came off the base after they both were on it and was tagged so he is out.
And Keller rewards the effort by walking the batter.....1 run allowed I guess is a good outing but I am so sick of watching us walk batter after batter [Reply]
