I dont mean to come across as negative here but Robinson was 1 of those guys once upon a time. He was a knucklehead who was an unpolished mid round pick hes already proven he belongs and provides continuity to the offense. Is he a #2 WR? No but none of these other guys being worshiped are either. Robinson is a proven player and deserves a roster spot.
^this^ should be common sense and is for anyone with a sliver of football acumen... [Reply]

We're not keeping 4 RB's. If someone gets hurt, you can pick one up quickly... We will keep CEH, McKinnon and Williams. [Reply]

I’m torn on this one. I could see keeping 4 RBs and no FB. Use a TE to be the fullback. Idk. [Reply]
Vikings and All-Pro Safety Harrison Smith have agreed to a 4-year, $64 million extension, per source. The deal makes Smith the second highest-paid safety in the NFL at the age of 32.

Geez…maybe…maybe if we somehow can keep OBJ long term we tag 32. I mean that’s a LOT of cheddar for a safety. Not saying he’s not worth it but… damn that money could be used in other ways? I don’t know… but I trust Veach, the Demi-god of Salary Cap manipulation. [Reply]

But to your point, I don’t necessarily think that being on the field for x number of passing snaps vs running snaps really means a whole lot in the grand scheme of making the roster. If you are you there for double the time of your “competition” to me indicates more of a preparation thru snaps/reps. The less snaps you play the less chance you have of making the final 53, unless your name is Mahomes or any other “guaranteed” to make the roster name.
I hear you, but my point was that if Guy A is on the field for 20 snaps and 12 are running plays he only has 8 chances to be target, let alone make a reception. I was looking at it more as how many times does he get open enough to be the target. Guy B on the field for 20 snaps in which 12 are passing has a better chance to shine. [Reply]
