Grant DuBose and Matt Landers are 2 guys I'd love to see us get late as a double dip after an earlier pick. Man, I know there's some doubts, but Johnston at 31 would be incredible. He could bust but tall, pretty quick with excellent YAC, that is not a combo you often get late 1st.

He was after the Senior Bowl, but then he didn't test all that great. He's still a guy that I'd love to draft in the middle rounds.

Nor is Johnston an ideal fit. And he's not a 'physical target' by any stretch - he's just tallish.

Are you aware he was reportedly dealing with an ankle injury? That could easily explain the difference.

Where did he run a mid-4.5? I've seen this posted a bunch. I posted it in the lounge but his official times (and posted on NFL team websites like Detroit's) is 4.49 in the 40 and 7.15 in the 3-cone. Neither are complete shit for a 6'3" 208 receiver. Actually, pretty damned solid. He's basically the same as CeeDee Lamb and he's doing ok.
