Crazy game. Probably would have won if they didn't pinch run for Sal like 3 hours ago or if they let Olivares PH in a meaningful situation or if they didn't let Greg Holland throw 430 pitches.

Holly was awful throwing crap balls but his fastball was lively.

I don't think i've been shy about talking about why Matheny is an awful fit for where KC was when he was hired and an awful fit always and forever.

This is the type of thing he did in St. Louis with young players. He'd have promising prospects and let them rot too much on the bench in favor of crappy vets that he played out of position pretty frequently.

It's not just a him thing - Arizona is doing the same thing right now with C/OF stud prospect Daulton Varsho - but it's frustrating.

God I hate losing to the Cardinals and the Yankees. I know this is a throwaway season, but damn man... I think I heard somebody say the Royals hadn't won a series vs the Yankees in ten straight series. That's pathetic.

Someone in the KC media needs to ask why the **** is Olivares getting ****ed around so much when it comes to playing time. Not enough bible thumping in the clubhouse? ****in Matheny needs to stroke out or something, so sick of seeing trash playing over guys who may be apart of the long term plans.
