I have so much stuff buzzing through my head after the last two episodes that I can't even really create a coherent post about it. Just really happy that they made these shows and looking forward to more. [Reply]
I posted this on FB, but thought I’d come here too. What are your thoughts of the Mandalorian taking over the last 2 episodes? Don’t get me wrong, I love the Mandalorian, but he has his own show! He needs to stay out of this! Does this mean it will take forever for the next season of Mandalorian to come out? [Reply]

If he picks the lightsaber and becomes Luke's first student, then the sequel trilogy is no longer canon---Kylo was Luke's first student. As much as I love seeing Grogu and Mando together...I think retconning the sequel trilogy is more important.
I don't think there is much of a choice. Everything Jedi is washed in pain and fear for Grogu.
Also as others on the web have noted, Luke presented Grogu with the same choice Anakin was given, love and attachment or jedi solitude. It's like Luke continues the same tradition that led to the Order's fall. So of course his academy fails [Reply]

Interesting point. But it should be noted that the reason for his success as a Jedi is attachment. Friendship with the Han and the rebels and obviously his sister.

As soon as they showed Cobb Vanth strolling around town with his pistol slung low, I immediately though they HAD to bring in Cad Bane for a showdown at high noon. Just needed some Ennio Morricone music.
