The various movies obviously deserve their own threads once things actually start moving on them, but it seems like we should have a place just for general discussion about what they're planning. So here ya go. [Reply]

I was surprised Sentry was brought to screen, but I was kinda shocked they gave us a view of the Void in the last trailer.
They better not mess up The Void. I say this, knowing they will probably find a way to do such.
In regards to FF, I feel like we will get a Council of Reeds appearance, and I know Galactus will be in it, but honestly, I'd rather they focus on someone like Mole Man as a primary villain (which I know it's reported he's in it, but who knows what will happen). Don't get me wrong, Galactus is badass, but I feel like Galactus should be an Avengers film and not just a FF movie.
Also, a weird thing I think would be pretty cool... I think eventually The Maker needs to get involved in the MCU, and when he does, they should make it Miles Teller to just shit on Fan4stic even more. [Reply]
Yeah, with the Council of Kangs already established and the Council of Reeds a near certainty, I feel the Parliament of Dooms could also be introduced in here, but maybe not exactly how its portrayed in the comics (I really feel RDJ as Doom is misdirection; he'll be a variant and someone else is going to play Doom Prime). I think this FF movie is going to be a lot more massive in scope than we're expecting, especially considering how much groundwork they've already laid down regarding the multiverse and how it works.
And I dig the idea of Miles Teller being the Maker. He'd make a pretty good evil Reed. Inspired choice, lol.
(And while we're on it, I'm still holding out hope we see John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as Reed and Sue at some point. They're just too perfect for the casting to let it go to waste) [Reply]

I think you start off Doomsday with Doom having manipulated a number of Kangs to achieve some goal of his and then completely eradicating the entire Council of Kangs.
I also think that it would be badass if Marvel took the beginning of Doomsday to show just how truly badass Doom is. Perhaps Thanos assembles the Infinity Gauntlet in Doom's universe and Doom stops him single-handedly. Something that shows just how dominant Doom is.
And yea, the Parliament of Doom in the comics would not be a good way to bring them to the MCU, but it could be a good idea to counter the Council of Reeds.

I don't know... I could see RDJ playing Doom.... but perhaps they get someone else to play God-Emperor Doom in Secret Wars and RDJ's Doom has to work alongside heroes he despises to achieve his greater goal.
I think Miles Teller would be a phenomenal Maker. And The Maker is one of the few villians that I genuinely think is Doom-level in terms of his capabilities. Guy made his own universe and intentionally went through it and removed all the origin points for any heroes that could contest him. That's a whole other level of evil.
I still think Krasinski and Blunt should be the primary Reed and Sue as well. Who knows, maybe we'll see them as variants like we saw Krasinski in Multiverse of Madness. [Reply]
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet. But this sounds pretty cool..

Cyclops got so shafted in the original X-Men trilogy. I decided to start watching X-Men 97 the other night. And in the first 5 minutes of that series they made Cyclops more badass and resemble his character better than they did in the entirety of the original X-Men trilogy. [Reply]

Buddy, the peeks we're getting of Sentry are unreal.
My favorite Marvel character, and it looks like they're going to do him justice.
Doomsday looks promising. I respect what they're doing with the Fantastic Four but seeing as how I've literally never seen a good Fantastic Four movie, not even one, I'm not optimistic. Is there a superhero concept worse for movie making than that team? [Reply]

I've seen a good Fantastic Four movie. It was called The Incredibles. It can be done dammit! [Reply]
