Teams take a step back sometimes. Even the Patriots did. They went 10-6 when Brady came back from his Bernard Pollard knee KO and they got bent over by the Ravens in the wild card.
Lot of good teams have one stretch and then don’t recover, the Seahawks being the prime example. This is going to help us significantly if these picks work out.
We’ll still be a playoff team and the divisional rd is our floor IMO. Just enjoy the ride bc if all goes well 2023 will be a ton of fun. [Reply]

Andy? No. Made fun of people for it last season.
Spags if he can't start making something happen? Maybe. Depends on the circumstances. Probably a lot rookies and 2nd year players logging significant snaps. [Reply]

Unless we're like the 32nd defense it's going to be pretty shitty to can a guy with first and second year dudes who's been part of the run the last 4 years [Reply]

That would be in the circumstances. I don't think it will happen.
Better believe the Fuck Andy and Veach posts flow when they struggle as they learn early on, though. Just like the OL early.
Don't think anyone is losing their jobs at the end of 2022. Defense will improve. [Reply]

Lol at this drama-queen talking in absolutes. The secondary won't be a "a bunch of rookies" and the d-line won't be just Dana/Herring...and you know that but of course your argument is feeble so desperation to muddy the truth becomes key smh. [Reply]

The most useless poster chimes in with another bad take. Shocker [Reply]

You realize that this analogy takes Mahomes' potential when coupled with Reid and Veach, and compares it to Belichik and Brady, . . . so long as Brady is hobbled by recovery from season-ending injury.
So where will we be sitting if at some point in his career Mahomes has significant injury?
Ponder for a moment the gravity of our current copium rhetoric, a fully healthy Mahomes in the prime of his career and we're hopeful we will be competitive again in the not too distant future. [Reply]
