On a few bad teams yes, but there are plenty of teams that have a backup just like him.

With the RB talent of todays league Spencer Ware is pretty much a dime a dozen.

One thing Ware is extremely good at is his blocking. He’s the reason why Mahomes converted on that 40 yard bomb to Kelce

Some of you need to update your mindset and stop thinking that the Chiefs need a super-talented RB to win a Super Bowl.

Those days are done with Mahomes and they are done in the NFL in general.

Look at the parade of nondescript RB's Tom Brady has won 5 Super Bowls with.

There is no need for West, that guy isn't good.

The RB position needs change after this year now. Darrell Williams is a cheap replacement for Ware, Damien Williams has a 3rd down role but the 1 has to be drafted yet again.

@RapSheet: The #Chiefs are expected to sign former RB Charcandrick West, sources say. He knows the playbook and will fit right in, filling the void created on the roster by Kareem Hunt. My understanding is FA RB CJ Anderson had a really good workout and is ready if needed.
