Without mentioning the past, I’ve yet to hear a compelling reason to pick New England. All signs point to the Chiefs for me in this one, similar to the game against the Colts.

Most arguments would be based on past performance. NE is really successful in the postseason so they're the safe pick I guess.

But NE isn't as successful in Arrowhead than in Foxboro. Mahomes is going to be hard to stop. Arrowhead is going to be berserk.

Pats D on the road is as bad as the Chiefs D has been on the road. The Pats aren't holding KC below 30 and they won't score 30 on KC here.

ESPN.com asked some experts last week whom they thought would win if this matchup ultimately came to fruition, and I recall something like 1/11 (~9%) favored the Patriots. So there’s that as a more unbiased sample.

Mind you, this doesn’t mean anyone thinks the odds are 5-9% the Patriots win. I personally think you have a 30% chance.
