Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. These separate threads will be made as soon as the news breaks, outside of this thread. I will link the threads below. Pure knee-jerk gold to reference in the future.

Here are our picks:

Round 1, #28: Xavier Worthy
Round 2, #63: Kingsley Suamataia
Round 4, #131: Jared Wiley
Round 4, #133: Jaden Hicks
Round 5, #159: Hunter Nourzad
Round 6, #211: Kamal Hadden
Round 7, #248: C.J. Hanson

Here is a list of the prospects the Chiefs have shown interest in this year.

You don't take those guys at 32 though.

He's a typical boom/bust 2nd rounder.

If we stay at 32 I could easily see him being the pick
That is such a boom or bust swing...

Very few of the WR's in this draft though come in with his polish. This is kind of an either or debate, I mean people don't realize McConkey's athletic scores are basically the same as Garrett Wilson's.
I can't get a starting LT type in the 2nd though.

You aren't getting one at 32 either, you are getting a guy with athletic traits that is a project.

Not surprising considering Rich Eisen heard at the combine that the Giants are done with Jones. If I was Maye or McCarthy I would be praying to go to Minnesota

The #Giants have been trying to trade up to No. 3 with the #Patriots, with the belief being they want UNC QB Drake Maye, according to multiple league sources.

The prevailing belief is it’s a long shot to happen — but New England is listening to all calls. pic.twitter.com/gezy1er4W6

If I were gonna take a WR at 32....I think I'd take Ladd and just play to his high floor and just take my 5 years of that. It's a bit to rich to go boom or bust for me and take Leggette there.

I'm really excited about this. It's not as much fun as all of our Super Bowl wins, of course, but it's still really fun.

Again, you aren't getting that in the 60's.

That depends, lots of project tackles slide, I think it's as likely Patrick Paul goes at 64 as it is he goes at 35.

The guys taken there are more likely RT's.

IF there's one thing the league has pretty well figured out, it's who is and who isn't a LT.

And those guys are all likely gone by 15.

Most "project tackles" end up being RT's at best and normally guards.

This guy has a pretty good track record. Take it FWIW

Sounds like the Chiefs are still targeting an LT for Round 1. If there's a crazy run on OTs, drafting WR is the contingency plan. 99% positive they go OT #ChiefsKingdom

"Ladd McConkey to the Chiefs; it's not fair...He's going to have this unbelievable Puka Nacua kind of rookie season. And the Chiefs are going to find a way to win the Super Bowl."
