I never liked her after Titanic- but she just keeps doing amazing work. Kate is killing it in this show, probably her best stuff and definitely award-worthy. [Reply]

Clarice is CBS and will move to Paramount+ next season.
Also moving to Paramount+ SEAL Team. It will finish this season and 4 episodes next season then transfer to streaming permanently. This show got butchered by cbs and pandemic. The cutback of shows and only airing every other week killed its ratings. Then they cut budget and had to let some key people go. Lost its focus and became more like a soap opera. Was a good show for 3 1/2 seasons then poop, hope it gets back on track at Paramount. [Reply]

Only current shows I’m watching are Handmaid’s Tale (though I don’t really know why. First season was good, but has been downhill since and is starting to border on ridiculous) and Mythic Quest. Looking forward to Ted Lasso in a few months. I don’t think there’s anything else on the immediate horizon that I’m looking forward to too much.
Thinking about going back and watching Dark. Simply heard too many good things.
I thought it had its moments, but it seemed like they're already running out of inspiration and original ideas. Also thought the acting was much weaker in general, especially by Homelander and Starlight.
Plus the tone was really inconsistent due to differences in creative teams. But a lot of series have that problem. [Reply]

Anyways, these days, i been watching some spanish shows on Netflix, they are pretty good. I forgot the name of it though. I just remember it was about how some chick Sara died. Season 2 should be out soonish. I think its called Who killed Sara haha
I remember liking the 2 or 3 episodes of SG1 that I watched. Who killed Sara Marshall somehow sounds familiar. [Reply]

Yeah, I was never big on Kate Winslet, but she is beyond excellent in this show.
Little House on the Prairie - just wonderful, wholesome family tv that is incredibly well acted... I constantly record them and come home after work to unwind with good people in a world where things turn out the way they should 90% of the time
The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch - if you have any interest in the paranormal at all, this is cant miss television... they do REAL science, and get REAL results, they've captured all kinds of strange phenomenon, including UFO's in the sky that seemed to be watching their various experiments [Reply]

The other 10% consists of little girls going blind, getting kicked by horses, falling down wells, and burning up in house fires. That was one seriously unlucky family. [Reply]

:-) yeah they do have some serious story lines here and there for sure
But I just love it, you can proudly sit down a family of all ages in front of it... theres almost always a very good moral lesson to be learned
Michael (Eugene Orowitz) Landon was a damn good man, he was a paragon of virtue in an otherwise seedy town [Reply]
Just finished the first season of For All Mankind. I highly recommend it. The space sequences are incredibly realistic and the alternate history angle is awesome for someone who’s into it. [Reply]

That does look interesting.
Have you ever read the speech that Richard Nixon had prepared in case the moon landing had ended in disaster? It was written by William Safire.
Text of William Safire’s speech for President Richard Nixon, in the event of a disaster besetting Apollo 11.
Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace.
These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice.
These two men are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding.
They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown.
In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man.
In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood.
Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man’s search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts.
For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.
