JFC, what are people realistically expecting with Niang?

These are his first football practices... college or pro... since October 2019 and it’s only May.

I agree, but I hope now that he can be considered a full-time professional athlete, he can work on his lower body strength.

Unless he is just a freak of nature, that weight without a stronger base is going to contribute to a back injury, or cause a back injury. The best would be a healthy trade off, dropping some pounds up top, and adding muscle down below.

He’s built exactly like Willie Roaf.

His lower body is also completely overblown.

I'm seeing like, no difference between the definition between he and Humphrey's(?) legs here.

This narrative is really, really being pushed by Nick Athan today.

Exactly. And he was injured... Some here had him starting at LT after we lost out on Williams, which was laughable. He may end up being the 2nd string RT this season, and if you look at the OL personnel, one can argue that, that could have been the plan from the get go. He's here for the long haul, not only for this season. In time, Om betting he'll get where he needs to be.

Classic Veach. Only looks at actual production against people like Chase Young while completely ignoring calves.

On the other hand, Dave Gettleman building a real powerhouse in NY with his BCA (best calves available) draft strategy.

Gruden and Mayock look at coccyx size. Veeeeery important to have a big coccyx when playing OT. Very important.

Geoff Schwartz thinks it’s a complete non-issue for what it’s worth.
