You won't know who he is when he's gone, either.

He's the very definition of JAG.

It seems like an odd signing.
Agreed. I really liked Damien. the way he presented the ball when he crossed the goal line was wonderful . Always gave me chills.

IIRC same ACL, and in preseason both years. It's why the niners had to get Coleman. They were excited to get him from the Vikings and it seemed like he was set for a breakout season but he kept tearing his ACL.

He looked good when he got on the field last season for the most part, but I think he even got dinged up a couple times in limited reps last year. Shifty and really fast. I started him in daily FF one week when Mostert and Coleman were out, even with teams loading the box against the Niners after JimmyG got hurt. He could rack up points in a ppr because he's a good receiver. Maybe the Chiefs can use him sparingly enough to keep him on the field for more than a few games. Good risk/reward if it's a cheap deal.

I don't think he tore it twice I think he tore it and the next year had to get a plasma injection on it

Lots of potential, very very broken.

I just think it's a strange signing.
Agreed. Maybe KC was pissed as to when he communicated he was sitting out last year. Maybe he messed the front office up and they said bye bye.

Shady was a fumbling machine. It was pretty smart to bench him.

Hes mocking what every signing becomes on here. This dude is a broke dick. Veach is simply filling a roster spot with this move nothing more.

It wasn't because of his fumbling.

Jerick McKinnon is a good signing for KC. The former 3rd round pick of the Minnesota Vikings, might not make the team, but he provides competition for Darwin and Chiefs might come back to him if we have a RB injury.

His injury history really took place in 2018 (ACL tear, Grade 3) and 2019 (LCL Tear, Grade 3). Last year in 2020, he played entire season and he wasn't an injury problem before 2018.

He's 5-9, 205, ran a 4.41 forty, strong with 32 reps on bench and has hop with a 40.5 inch vertical and 11 foot broad jump.

Like many NFL players, he was a QB in high school, but he also played QB/RB at Georgia Southern. He had 2,867 yards rushing, 32 TDs, and 768 passing yards in 2012 and 2013, so no threat to Patrick.

In 2016 for Minnesota Vikings, he rushed for 539 yards, 2 TDs, 43 REC, 256 yards and 1 TD.

In 2017 for Vikings, he rushed for 570 yards, 3 TDs, 51 REC, 421 yards, and 2 TDs.

in 2018, 49ers liked him well enough to give him a 4 year $30 M contract but then he sat out two years with injury.

Last year for 49ers, he rushed for 319 yards, 5 TDs, 33 REC, 253 yards, and 1 TD.

Not able to find anything yet, but I am sure KC signed him to a very low cost contract.

What’s worse than fumbling? Shitty blocking for Patrick?

If that had been the case, they would have cut him last season instead of paying him $150k while opting out.

There, I saved you from typing an essay on a guy that may not even make the team.

It had nothing to do with his play on the field.

Something happened behind the scenes and Andy essentially benched him permanently. I don't really know exactly what it was, just that it was personal and wasn't about his performance on game days.
