I think most of us would agree that the seasons between Trent Green (48-42) and Alex Smith (51-30) were dark years for Chiefs fans. The almost sucked the fandom out of me. This is also the time between Head Coaches Vermeil and Reid. Probably go hand in hand.
As we praise our respective deities for delivering us Patrick Mahomes II, let us take a moment to reflect upon the hard road we traveled before he came to ease our journey.
Which of these QBs were the most disappointing? (Poll to follow) [Reply]

Hence why he is the most dissappointing. Because some of us actually had hopes and expectations.
I enjoyed we tried to take our guy, but dear lord did we mess it up. [Reply]

Not only did we trade a 2nd round pick to get him and proceed to pay him $28,000,000 in guaranteed money over a long-term deal, but we built an entire way around him based on confirmation bias that saddled the franchise for years. [Reply]

That guys was comically retched. Just simple pitches and catches 6-8 yards downfield were no sort guarantee.
Yes. Cassel was rock bottom for this organization. Palko was awful, but he never sees a snap as a starter if not for Cassel being forced on that team. [Reply]
Tyler Palko shouldn’t have ever been on an NFL roster. Haley thought he was a genius and thought his Pitt connection was all he needed to resurrect this chunk of shit from the sewer. He legit thought this guy was good enough to be the backup.
It’s Palko. Brodie wasn’t good, but he didn’t look as inept out there as this fucking amateur. [Reply]
