Because he wasn't looking for one. At least not at those figures.
But what's strange is that he was coming off what is very probably the best season he'll have in his career. As far as platform seasons go, you just couldn't ask for more.
But the market was tight this year and more money is coming into the system next season. So I'm guessing the market didn't come together for him so he took a pillow contract to try to get back on the market next year. [Reply]

He wasn't brought in to start but he did what he had to do as a backup. He is a very instinctual player and I assure you he will make some real key picks and tackles this year that will seal games for us. I love this guy because he is an intellectual instinctual player. [Reply]
