Is the underlying theme of this post
Would you rather go to a Smash Mouth concert that looks like a sausage festival or get Covid? That’s a tough question.

I think the idea is that the people at this "concert" chose both.
Some-body once told me the world is gonna roll me,
Cuz I don’t wear mask on my head.
I’m feelin kinda numb with a tickle in my lungs,
In three days I’ll prolly be deaaad.
I have noticed a pattern in this thread. Seems most have heard or are aware of the band I have never heard of. To be this aware is usually a sign that you listen to them maybe even liked at one time but now embarraced by your fandom.
I would expect Pitt Gorilla has a auto travel casette case full of smashmouth tucked away in an attic somewear.

Were you alive in the 90s? If so, you've heard them, you just didn't know it.

Smash mouth had a hit that was all over the radio a couple of decades ago. Being alive at that time is all it takes to be “this aware”.

They actually had two "hits", and you didn't even need to turn on a radio to hear them. Just walking into a bar or restaurant or any fucking public place with music on was enough. You couldn't get away from them.
