We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

My buddy owns a restaurant. He’s only open Thursday-Sunday for pickup and delivery. He lost all the revenue for st paddys day. Had to pay people to throw out like 750lbs of corn beef and all the food he had prepared. He did $7,000 in sales for Easter. He usually does 6 times that. And all the bills from 3-4 weeks ago are still coming in. He’s digging into his savings right now to survive. But all his employees are hurting. It is very sad

Such bullshit.
Chinese Comunist overlords need taken out.
Another Nuremberg style trial needs to be held with charges of Crimes Against Humanity.

Demolishing the economy was totally worth it.

That reminds me, Jordan/Jesse were doing a bit on their podcast that insinuated that they were 'urged' by local ordinance to take daily walks.

By which I mean, they were joking but it seemed to be grounded in truth, about some local representative entities encouraging them, . . . kind of like a town crier announcing the time, . . . only it was reminding you to take your daily walk.

They're in the Silver Lake/Glendale general area, SFAIKT. Has anyone heard of similar efforts, either there or elsewhere? First I'd heard anything remotely like it.

It definitely does suck.

However, he's still alive. He can make that money back once the economy gets going again. Meanwhile if social distancing wasn't put into place countless more people would have died. There's no coming back from that.

Its definitely time to start easing the social distancing restrictions though.

Well, you know, we're just reaching or passing the peak, so it seems like the perfect time to just say fuck it with all the restrictions and move immediately back into big herds. What could possibly go wrong?
