I was looking at today's lineup along with the pinch hitters, and the Royals don't have anyone batting over .227 except BWJ and Salvy. That's depressing, and hopefully they don't waste all the good pitching they currently have been getting. (Stratton the eye is on you)
Giving up 4 runs like today shouldn't be game over but it sure seemed like it to me. Granted their pitcher was excellent, but these batting averages aren't going to get it done for the long haul. JMHO
Edit: Loftin, who didn't play today, is .276. He's only played in 13 games, he should play more.
