2023 Recap
Spoiler!

Thread Overview
This is the 13th year in a row that we will be tracking the college players the Chiefs have publicly or privately expressed interest in leading up to the NFL Draft.

Last year, we had a pretty solid showing with 4 hits: Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Rashee Rice, Wanye Morris & BJ Thompson. Let's run it back!

For those who are new: the way this operates is that we collectively monitor various social media sources, blogs, articles and reports for news of the Chiefs' interest in a certain player. When posted in this thread, I will update the OP to include the player. *Please provide the link to the article, the players name, position and team.

I am going to try to link to player profiles when they exist, courtesy of The Draft Network, NFL.com, or their team's website.

Let's meet some of our future Chiefs:

Nate Taylor says we met with Brian Thomas Jr, Troy Franklin, and Xavier Worthy at the combine. Posting here so I don’t forget to add later.

Considering I live near Oregon State......

Gould is a fucking dynamite returner. He's a perfect fit as a WR towards the bottom of your roster but can improve the return game.

I like this. Thomas is my guy. Not sure if it is doable, but that is who I want.

Aww shit... just posted my response to this in the Alpha WR thread instead... but yeah count me in on moving up for Brian Thomas Jr. if it's possible. I'm honestly hoping that the Worthy explosion at the combine helps put another WR in front of him. If it means not having to move up 3 more slots or something that could be huge.

Interesting prospect. I like it

Western Michigan ED Marshawn Kneeland had a Top 30 visit with the Kansas City Chiefs, a source said.

Kneeland also has 30s scheduled with the Saints, Bills, 49ers, Jaguars, Bucs, and Panthers.

WMU’s 6-3, 267-pound edge Marshawn Kneeland--No. 26 Combine Freaks List--ran a faster 3-cone (7.02) and shuttle (4.18) than all the DLs AND LBs at in Indy. He also vertical jumped 35.5 inches and had a 1.66 10-yard split. Impressive day for the Bronco. https://t.co/xAjTDnWNX3

The Kansas City Chiefs will host Boston College IOL Christian Mahogany on a Top 30 visit, a source confirmed.

Athletic interior presence didn’t allow a single sack or QB hit in 394 pass pro reps in 2023.

It's the third TE they've met with thus far so clearly it's a position they are looking at.
