Took my first Webull loss today. ATER hit my Stop loss at 3.13
Where my mistake was was setting my sell price for a 10% gain. If I had set for 5% it would have hit before it tanked.
Lessons learned. But if I shoot for 5% gains it's going to take more than two years to become a Billionaire and I'm wanting to give Buffett that phone call before he dies. [Reply]

Number one rule is risk management. Second rule is capital preservation.
So yes, stop will get raised at least for a percentage of trade but I may keep my original stop loss on a portion too in case it runs.
Market conditions determine my behavior too. Right now I’d be much more conservation with stops. Of course I don’t believe in trading in current market conditions. [Reply]
