Depends on the pressing, and I hear the MOV cut of 'Dummy' is a good one.

How's that Oasis? I remember the CD being LOUD with peircingly exaggerated highs.

I did shell out for the Doomed & Stoned Fest this weekend. Pretty solid lineup. Been jamming Attalla from WI.

The sound is rich and full. Hard to listen to trip hop at "acceptable" volumes to truly appreciate it.

Sounds really clean and vibrant. Exactly as you remembered the CD. Forgot how good this whole album was. Took me back to high school.

That's pretty dope. Too bad I can't buy anything, I got popped with a bag of shrooms last week and now have to get a lawyer, so I'm selling a bunch of my records.

It sucks. :\

Listening to the Chronic, old school bumps. Blackberry Smoke, probably some Stones later.

Feeling nostalgic ::-)

Over the weekend I listened to Pantera's Far Beyond Driven at 33RPM. Sounded like a mix of Korn, Bolt Thrower, and some beatdown hardcore. Someone has it posted on Youtube if you do a search for it.

So Band-Maid dropped two new videos overnight.

The first is for their new single:

Kinda underwhelming for my tastes. They have done softer ballads before but at least Kanami (lead guitar) and MISA(bass) got to show off during them. Not so much here.

This on the other hand is much more up my alley. A live blu-ray quality version of Real Existence:

Taken from the blu-ray that will come with the deluxe edition of the single. Might get it for that alone.

Yeah that live track is rocking.

I've been listening to a lot of Bob Dylan lately, but I've been packing and reflective. Beck 'Sea Changes' etc.

I've realized that I'm actually spending my last days in Missouri, so that's kind of hitting me.

New project that I'm working on is a reissue label, a buddy and I got permission to reboot an old label from the artist's management, so now we gotta go to Sony and dig up some masters...

Good news, if you have a Bandcamp account, Bongripper put their new album up with a Name Your Price purchase option today. So for $0.00 you can download it to your computer and for $1.00 you can add it to your Bandcamp library and play it through their app.

These dudes understand the struggle.
