Most new music just doesnt match up to the old favorites
Most old music didn't match up to old favorites. There's a lot of new music out there and some of it is really good. It's just a matter of finding what you like. In the meantime, like always, you have to wade through a bunch of stuff that doesn't rate to find the gems. And of course one person's gems are another person's garbage.

yeah. Hey, I'm always looking for a new favorite band. Went to lunch with my lil bro today(el pollo rey? down near/on kansas ave.), and he listens to a good variety of radio. Discovered this song.

Exactly. There's been a ton of trash music since the beginning of time. People have always had to actually LOOK for good, current music. It doesn't just grow on trees.
