Hate to say, in another thread about Peaky Blinders, Blacklist thread, both of which are a great series, but I get tired after a few views. Thus I needed a break.
So I surfed Netflix and found "Awakenings". One of the better Robin Williams obscure films. Not a fan of Robert De Niro, but a good flick from 1992.
I watched it a long time ago. Glad I found it again. I like historical films and a feel good or bad story.
Recommended.
What other hidden gems are out there...
We all have our preferences. This is a generic, not niche classic ala Rocky Horror Picture Show nor Monty Pythons stuff nor Casablanca.

The best part of that movie was George Carlin playing a Cardinal.

I love how they show the absurdity of religion while also promoting it.
The end message is pretty good.

I've tried to tell my kids (17 and 13) just how HUGE Alanis Morrisette was in the mid-90's.
When I play one of her songs they look at me like I'm drowning kittens in the sink. I guess she didn't make timeless music.

One of my friends stole her album from another friend. He was pissed.

Heh, nothing says 90s more than Alanis Morrisette. I see she is still making music, but ever never heard anything from her since 2000 or so.
