So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]
Well I was totally wrong. I thought he was asking for too much he would hit the market everyone would tell him that and he'd come back here. Maybe he will be humbled in the market like Tyrann was last year [Reply]

Yeah, when I decide which players I want the number 1 thing I'm concerned about is aesthetics. Is the dude hot? How does he dress? Usually if he's hot, then that's enough to pull the trigger. The uglier they are, then the better they need to dress. If they are too ugly, then no amount of fashion sense will be good enough. [Reply]
I’m going to go out on a limb and say Orlando drastically overestimated his value on the market. I mean the film doesn’t lie, OBJ. Nobody cares who your dad was.
Wonder what he’s going to end up doing? Haven’t heard of literally anyone being interested in him. [Reply]

I respected Orlando's position before this season. He said "Nah, you all are undervaluing me. I'm not signing that deal, I'm going to do it this year and prove I'm worth it." He bet on himself.
Trouble is, he didn't do it.
The Chiefs decided they'd rather pay a RT and convert him to LT than pay Brown, even under the tag for another year. [Reply]
