Nzoner's Game Room>Orlando Brown Projected Contract 6 year $145 mil
dlphg9 08:17 PM 03-28-2022
So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.

That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL

How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?

I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave.

At least put Brown and Wylie on the bench one series to make a point they need to play better.
What, are you trying to get Mahomes killed? There are other ways to drive the point home without that.

Ummmm... I think the point of benching them is so Mahomes doesn't get killed, no? You've watched the games, correct?

These guys are terrible almost every week.

Brown and Wylie should be on the ****ing bench right now-period. They have been horrendous this year. Seeing Mahomes limping around after Brown whiffed for the 20th time in the game is unacceptable. Will Andy make any changes-nope.
:-) Who are you going to play in their stead?

I know a lot of people hate this idea but I would move Thuney over to LT for the time being.

I'm just hoping Thuney can be a healthy Guard for the Playoffs.

:-) Have you seen him play? No offense, but what's not to understand?

No wonder he always looks like has concrete blocks on his feet.

It seems Brown really gets exposed without Thuney in there. Brown without Thuney is worse than Wylie.

That makes sense. Doesn’t Wylie benefit from Smith being in there?

Smith isn't as good Thuney.

Orlando brown has given up 39 pressures this year…most in nfl.

Wylie has given up 37…2nd most in nfl.

Gross.

Dude, this isn't pee wee league football.

These are grown men.

If you're going to bench them, they stay benched. And you have to live with whatever happens next.

You and I may be frustrated enough to so, but we don't watch practice. We don't know what the back-ups look like.

So you think that benching the best 2 OT that we have to teach them a lesson is not more apt to get Mahomes injured? That would be putting Mahomes at more risk.
Since we have all watched these turds for far to long now how could anymore think their backups would not be worse and that they opposing team would not try and take advantage of that situation.
