Nzoner's Game Room>How good are the Chiefs chances at the AFC's #1 seed?

Teams that actually matter in this conversation:

Kansas City (10-4) (vs PIT, at CIN, at DEN)

New England (9-5) (vs BUF, vs JAC, at MIA)

Tennessee (9-5) (vs SF, vs MIA, at HOU)

Baltimore (8-5) (vs GB, at CIN, vs LAR, vs PIT)

Buffalo (8-6) (at NE, vs ATL, vs NYJ)

Indianapolis (8-6) (at ARI, vs LV, at JAC)

LA Chargers (8-6) (at HOU, vs DEN, at LV)

---

Being 1 game back with six games to play seems incredibly generous given our shitty tiebreaker situation. I'll put our odds at 99.9999999%

The thing I can't understand is why the Chiefs have so much trouble scoring in the 2nd half of games. This has been an issue all season long but AR doesn't have an answer for it. You can't win a Super Bowl with 30 minutes of play.
We had 3 possessions the entire half.

One ended in points. One was killed by a holding call. One was killed by drops and a missed illegal contact call.

Yeah, that's what some Chiefs fan have said about every run-heavy opponent in the past 30 years, because it's apparently still 1993 in some places.

Ravens ran for 250 and still should have lost for the 4th(?) time in a row. Titans won because the Chiefs offense was horrible and Tannehill threw for almost 300 (Henry had 80 on the ground). People freak out about the Browns rushing attack, but they're 0 for 2. None of them have made it to the SB and the one AFCCG appearance was taken care of fairly easy.

It's time to root for the Raiders guys. To keep the Chargers out.

There's zero chance a guy who hasn't played in two months is going to be at his best right out of the gate. And Spags has held him in check before. It'd be a tough contest - that's what the playoffs are all about - but Henry doesn't scare me any more than the rest of the field does.

He makes play action deadly for Tanny.

I want to see Patrick on the road in a playoff game. I think that’s one joy we haven’t had the luxury to experience yet.

Imagine Patrick taking the Titans and all of Nashville’s souls in the championship game in their house after doing it in the same game 2 years ago.

We’ve been on the other end of that our entire playoff lives before the Mahomes era.

I want to be on the other side of that for once

I'm telling you guys. The Titans aren't winning a playoff game. Someone like the Bills will go in there and mollwhop those posers.

The ONLY team they might beat is New England.

I’m fairly confident that both the Bengals and Bills won’t win their first game. So the Titans will get a pretty average opponent.

Why are you betting against elite QBs? :-)

That would mean we play the Colts....I'd rather play Chargers than Colts IMO

We want the Chargers.

I don't want to see the Raiders pass rushers this postseason.

Ummm no.

We want the mediocre QB. Not the elite one.

I'm not worried about our defense at home.

I am worried about Maxx Crosby beasting Andrew Wylie.

Wait, what?

Clay, even if we play the Raiders, we won't have to see their pass rushers. I promise.
