The Committee knew Clemson would likely blowout USC or Ohio State, so they picked 1 loss Alabama, a team that is always competitive.
It was the right decision
I am a huge Buckeye fan, and I have stated that point numerous times. Bama has always been competitive, they don't get destroyed. To say Bama is more competitive than OSU or USC, I would say is not only fair, but accurate. We have lost too many games by far too many points to say otherwise. [Reply]

That is what shocked me, Clemson in my opinion has the best defense in the country, they steamrolled Clemson. Props to Bama and Saban, they are the Patriots of College Football. [Reply]
