I’ve seen a lot of Colts fans say we are like the Manning Colts with a great offense and no defense but like those teams will lose in the playoffs to good defenses. The thing is though those teams often lost because of Manning, not just the defense like they want to pretend. He was a statue and when you had a good game plan and the players you could stop him.
Everyone will see firsthand that doesn’t apply to Mahomes. He can create something from nothing in ways Manning could never dream of. If the Chiefs lose it will absolutely be because of the defense not the offense getting slowed. But we won’t lose. They can’t even slow us down. I’m thinking something like 38-24 Chiefs. [Reply]

Mahomes has everything Manning had, plus creativity and mobility. Manning won with great work ethic and preparation. He knew where his teammates and the defense would be.
Mahomes is just masterful at creating something out of nothing on the fly, inside or outside the pocket.
