Early 90s country music was great.

By the end of the decade, Shania Twain and friends wrecked it.

Shania Twain is awesome. And so fucking sexy. You shut your whore mouth.

I still listen to Any Man of Mine every once in a while.

There was some real bad country in the 90s, but there were some really good ones too. George Strait ruled the roost.

I’m not going to argue much because I won’t pretend like I listened to whole albums of hers or anything.

Any Man of Mine, You’re Still the One, and That Don’t Impress Me Much were great 90s jams in my book.

No one can touch Tim McGraw in my mind.

Don’t Take the Girl would probably make my top 50 songs of all time due to sentimental value and nostalgia alone.

I feel like in the 80s and 90s not ALL country singers sang with a twang fake accent. Some did others didnt. Now they ALL do. It's so annoying. There is no reason to have to sing like that...just....sing. it sounds better. That's the main reason I dislike country music.

There is no reason a foreigner like Keith Urban should have a southern twang accent. Either way you don't really sing with an accent. It's usually very difficult to know if a non-country artist is American or British or what have you just based on their singing voice.

Billy Joe Armstrong would like a few words with you, but I get your point.

Also, John Fogerty grew up in Northern California, but sounds like he is from Slidell, LA.

Don’t take the girl is his last good song. He then proceeded to put out hours of pure unadulterated inspired dogshit.

George Strait, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith...

Also love to listen to Patty Loveless....who can still bring it. Her duet with Vince Gill on "Go Rest High on that Mountain" at George Jones funeral is the best it gets.
