Well, the whole damned world IS a joke but sometimes you need to get super high to recognize it :-)
Ain't nothing wrong with pumping the brakes every once in a while [Reply]

It's not just you. There's something about Jon Heder that just absolutely annoys the fuck out of me. I don't just want to punch him - I want to run him over with a tank. [Reply]

That's what makes it funny!
The movie is satire for the mundane, boring life of a typical small rural town. It's a coming of age movie that acknowledges the awkwardness of growing up. [Reply]
I'll add a semi-obscure movie called King of Hearts.
It's available on some platforms and worth watching.
Here's a synopsis:
The film is set in a small town in France near the end of World War I. As the Imperial German Army retreats, they booby trap the whole town to explode. The locals flee and, left to their own devices, a gaggle of cheerful lunatics escape the asylum and take over the town — thoroughly confusing the lone Scottish soldier who has been dispatched to defuse the bomb. I’ve never seen this movie. Just doesn’t seem my thing. But ones I love to watch. The Hangover, Something About Mary, Talladega Nights, and Step Brothers are my go to.
Edit. Almost forgot My Blue Heaven. That’s a classic. [Reply]
