Allen has since officiated five Chiefs games and the team has a 4-1 record when he has been the referee. The last game he and his crew officiated for Kansas City was the Week 11 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Mexico City in 2019. His crew called 17 penalties in that game, with the majority of them against the Chiefs. That said, the Chargers received the harshest of the penalties in terms of yardage with over 40 more penalty yards in the game.
