I mentioned it somewhere, maybe in this thread, but his measurements at the combine were just a hair under 5'9" and 209 pounds. I'm not sure if he's maintained that weight to this point, but either he's slimmed down 20 pounds or he has the densest muscles ever because he looks like he goes about 175.
Initially I thought he probably just lost some weight and was playing closer to 190, but now I believe his muscles are just packed onto his body like a tiger because 32 reps at 209 lbs is insane. [Reply]

Yeah! I see him next to Patrick Mahomes II in the backfield and I think he's tiny. But he's listed on the Chiefs roster at 209. Maybe they're just carrying that forward from old listings or something, but you'd think that these guys get weighed pretty regularly. And he gets through tackles like a guy who weighs a lot more than 175.
I think you're right. He's just all dense muscle mass. [Reply]
This has been a pretty interesting thread that was started by Dante84 back in 2021.
Some people were very much against the Chiefs signing Jerick McKinnon but except for his injuries back in 2018 and 2019 (before Chiefs), he has been a good football player in the NFL.
Jerick McKinnon has also been a very inexpensive player for the Chiefs. His cap has been $721,667 in 2021 and $1,047,500 in 2022.
Hopefully Jerick McKinnon can have a very good run to the championship, and we can still bring him back next season. [Reply]
The guy went bonzo fantasy points-wise (I think it was the Seattle week?) and knocked me out of the playoffs in my league. I was playing Pacheco, who had some decent yards and a TD, but not like McKinnon's 3 TDs or whatever it was that day.

Jet seems like a likely candidate.

Wouldn't think there are going to be teams lining up for him but you never know these days. Hope they can work something out, the 1-2 punch of Pac and Mac is really humming.
The type Wylie is playing on (and Sherman had played on) isn't available for McKinnon because he hasn't been on the team for 4 years.
The other deal is for the vet minimum (plus a modest bonus) and only counts at a 2nd year players minimum to the cap.
So for him to be doing us any favors he'd have to be willing to sign a one year deal for the minimum for his years. Which I don't see happening. [Reply]
