False.

No one can draw any conclusions in a country of 330+ million people when there's been so little testing done and the ONLY people that are getting tested are those showing advanced symptoms.

The USA after removing the FDA and the CDC from the problem has DRAMATICALLY ramped up its capacity for testing and processing. Again, we are a massive country that is spread out. Unlike South Korea were almost a majority live in ONE CITY.
Making excuses doesn't improve the situation or somehow justify your opinion.

The bottom line is that we just don't know very much at this point in time because not even 5% of the population has been tested, let alone, 25% or 50%.

Eh - it's not accurate.

Brazil has over 300 cases and has declared a state of emergency, for instance.

There may be something to it, but that map has taken some liberties.

What does a stay in place mean for the financial industry, like say closing on a home? Any idea?

Tribune says Pritzker is going to order it for IL tomorrow and I'm scheduled to close on 3/30.

.. what sense does it make to bailout small businesses like independent movie theaters or concert venues if tight capacity limits and social distancing are going to be in place for the foreseeable future?

So those maps are a little too simplistic but others show similar things. Sort of explains why even though Australia is a warmer climate they have had a lot cases.

Curious, are RT’s still intubating patients or is that all Doctors these days?
Wouldn't your RT friends know about this?

There is absolutely no way in hell you are going to test almost 350 million people in any timely fashion. None. Period.

It'll only take over three years to test everyone assuming a 24 hour turnaround time per test.
