Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.
Damn... helluva move by the front office. A 24-year old All-Pro OT in Brown... this could be the best o-line since we had guys named Roaf, Shields, and Waters on the line. [Reply]

Probably a big reason for this pursuit.
Many of them were more RT/OG prospects as well. The knock on Brown was that he might be more of a RT than LT, which is a label slapped on several guys like Jenkins, Mayfield, and Eichenberg.
For me, I was on board with trading for Brown over trading up for a guy like Jenkins, who to me has the same question marks about scheme fit but also comes with the major question mark "can he actually play and excel in the NFL, regardless of position?"
