I don't see what the big deal is. If he thinks someone is after him, best way to do it is let the world know you are packing heat in your home so you better think twice if you plan to break in and have a go at him.
I fail to see where the mental issue is. Sounds like he's issuing a warning to whoever he thinks wants to kill him. The big deal is hopefully police can help determine and neutralize the threat, if it is real. [Reply]

If I was thinking about breaking into some famous guys house, and he put on social media showing us he has a gun. Shit, I'm thinking twice and ain't gonna do that shit now. [Reply]
Whether it's a mental disorder causing some type of hallucinations and paranoia, or it's a substance abuse disorder causing the same thing, I hope he gets help soon. We all deserve a chance at a sane life. [Reply]

He had a well publicized issue in 2018. From Wikipedia:
On Thursday, September 20, 2018, Griffen and his agent were sent a letter from the Minnesota Vikings, stating that he would not be allowed back with the team until he underwent a mental health evaluation.[79] Two days later, on Saturday, September 22, Griffen was involved in an incident at Hotel Ivy where he had allegedly threatened to shoot someone because he was not allowed in his room.[80][79] On September 25, 2018, it was revealed that Griffen was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.[81][82] [Reply]
