I'll agree he's overpaid, but the guy just just seems to always be around the ball. He's a good ST player and isn't afraid to tackle or take on a block, something that many of our "stars" seem to have an aversion to. He saved the game in Mexico City and that's not the 1st time he's made a game changing play. [Reply]

Also, I don't hate the guy, just was thinking he has a lot of similarities. Mainly, a lot of CP grumbles week after week then he makes a clutch play a couple times a year.
those couple of clutch plays can mean a couple of wins that might be losses [Reply]
I've really come around on Sorensen. He's not somebody I'd want as a starter but if your starter gets hurt it's good to have Sorensen as a backup. As others have pointed out he seems to step up when it matters. Good quality backups are hard to find. [Reply]

It's assumed that white people lack athleticism so they scoff at white corners, safeties, running backs, wr's etc unless they're undeniably gifted like a McCaffrey.
Sorenson, as a 3rd safety and a role player, is a solid player.
I don’t think so. People gave John Lynch all sorts of credit. Hell, Edelman gets all sorts of love.
People tend to diss Sorensen because he gets beat. [Reply]

You should probably read the post I was responding to. [Reply]
